The North Piedmont Intergroup Invites you to YOUR Annual Picnic, celebrating 83 years of AA in Lynchburg on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at The American Legion Park, Lynchburg VA, 1301 Greenview Drive (between Timberlake and Leesville Roads). Fellowship begins at 12:30 pm – Lunch at 1:30 pm. Speaker to follow is Christy E., Richmond VA – Our Virginia Area 71 Delegate

This is the group picnic put on by the Stuarts Draft group of AA. It is held yearly and will be Coyner Springs park in Waynesboro. It should be a fun time.

11th Step Meditation and Fellowship Retreat
Please join us for this peaceful and fun annual event.
You’ll have an opportunity to participate in a meditative yoga session (bring your own mat) led by Moira J, followed by a light lunch. There will then be a guided meditation session led by Sandy S followed by an 11th step themed AA meeting .
Join us for any or all of the sessions or just come out and hang out at a beautiful place.

Virginia State Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous
Lynchburg is hosting the 2025 Virginia State Conference of Young People in AA! This event is open to ANYONE who is a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, regardless of age, race, creed, religion, or background. Location: Liberty Mountain Conference Center, 3700 Candler’s Mountain Road, Lynchburg VA 24502 Dates are November 14-16, 2025. A Language and Cultural Special Forum for Deaf A.A. Members who use American Sign Language (ASL), Langue des Signes Québécoise (LSQ) & Lengua de Señas Mexicana (LSM)
- This General Service Office event will be held online and facilitated by Deaf A.A. members.
- There will be Deaf/hearing panelists and Q&A/discussion.
- All A.A. members are welcome to attend.
Please note that the Q&A/discussion participation will primarily be dedicated to Deaf members as this forum is to provide a platform for the Deaf members to ask questions and to communicate with the General Service Board and the General Service Office.
